About LSAPP

The Law School Academic Preparation Program™ (LSAPP™) is a service of BarRev™ LLC, a California limited liability company based in Los Angeles, California.

The LSAPP introduces students to selected first-year law school subjects as well as provides training in skills essential to successful academic performance during first year. The course is designed primarily for students who have already been accepted to law school and have committed to attending law school at the beginning of the next academic year.

Unsurpassed Instructor Qualifications

All LSAPP instructors must meet the highest minimum requirements of any law school preparation provider, including all of the following criteria:

  • Perfect LSAT score
  • Top Ten college graduate
  • Top Ten law school graduate
  • Law review
  • First-time bar exam passer
  • First-time MPRE passer
  • Admitted to practice of law

About the Founder

BarRev founder Shelton Harrison received his B.A. from Stanford and his J.D. from the University of Virginia School of Law, where he served as managing editor of the Virginia Law Review.

In addition to BarRev, Harrison has been trained as a teacher by all three of the top three national test preparation companies, TestMasters, Kaplan and Princeton Review. He began his teaching career as a full-time assistant to the resource specialist at Fairmeadow Elementary School, where he worked with learning-disabled students in grades one through six.
